PUMA is looking for a Head of People & Organization GCC.

 

Your mission:

  • HR expertise and consultancy: ensure professional and competent HR expertise and consultancy are provided to the business, the leadership team and employees on people-related matters. Cooperate closely with the Area Leadership team to foster a high-performance culture
  • Talent Management: Cultivate and drive Talent Management topics (both office and store employees), including talent attraction, talent conferences, people development, individuals’ career progression, and work on building long-term succession planning
  • Drive Training and Development portfolio /initiatives to ensure teams and individuals are qualified with the necessary skills and knowledge to fulfil business expectations
  • Organisational development: proactively support and contribute into people-related strategies related to (re-) structuring, teams’ development & work environment improvement
  • Compensation & Benefits: drive annual and ad hoc compensation reviews (both office and Stores); ensure compensations remain competitive and attractive using respective benchmark and talent market intelligence tools; strive for aligned employees’ benefits structure across departments. Full ownership of the payroll activities and processes
  • HRIS and employee data management: ensure accurate and flowless employee data management within HRIS and internal HR systems, train and educate end users on HR system usage to ensure data accuracy and completion
  • Budget Reporting, and Analyses: Own PEX planning & forecasting and personnel data as needed for the budgeting process
  • Operational HR (administration) ensure timely and flawless management of employment contracts, job descriptions, and employees’ personnel files in line with local statutory regulations and internal PUMA procedures. Ensures legal compliance in all HR matters by monitoring and implementing applicable country and state requirements; represents the organisation at hearings and audits conducted internally by PUMA or externally by local authorities
  • HR Strategy: Adapt Global/ Regional PHRO strategy to the local business requirements, define roadmap and drive its implementation, striving for activities which support modern, effective and synergy-driving ways of working
  • Lead and develop the P&O team in a way that ensures that they are skilled and equipped with the necessary knowledge, skills, experience, and tools to do current and future roles at their best
  • Employee well-being & engagement: (pro-)actively propose and implement initiatives which support employees’ well-being and improve engagement
  • Cooperation with Global/ Regional P&O teams: maintain close relationships and cooperation with Global/ Regional and other markets P&O Heads to ensure best practice sharing
  • Other activities and projects; actively contribute to other activities and projects which may occur due to evolving of the P&O role in general and/or due to new/ ongoing PUMA’s internal P&O initiatives

 

Your talent:

Education:

  • Relevant university degree in business or Human resources

Experience:

  • An experienced HR generalist with demonstrated leadership experience of at least 5 years in a fast-moving environment, preferably international

Capabilities:

  • Resourceful mindset and an innovative approach to problem-solving, diligent and attentive to business and people’s needs
