Joom is an international marketplace – the fastest-growing e-Commerce service in Europe. The first version of app was launched in the summer of 2016, and by now we’ve had over 400 million users across the globe.
Joom Logistics was founded in 2018 to meet the internal business need – to deliver parcels from Asia to international clients in the fastest and cheapest way. Now monthly parcels volume is more than 10 million and Joom Logistics actively offers its services to the famous clients.
Now company is looking for a head of operations who will organize and oversee the international operations of Joom Logistics.
Responsibilities:
- Support customers' operational needs and design the preferred solution for different client segments
- Initiate and lead both short- and long-term work plans to maximize operational performance and infrastructure efficiency as company scales business
- Coordinate project implementation (operational process deployment or product launch)
- Communicate with potential clients (in person, by correspondence, by phone), participate in presentation of solutions and products, maintain relations with them
- Identify new clients needs and business opportunities
- Provide insights to the product team to improve an international crossborder logistics service and rollout new features
Requirements:
- At least 5 years experience in the international logistics operations
- Fluent English
- Experience in business development and/or sales
- Excellent communications skills
- Analytical mindset
- E-commerce/logistics background
- Experience of working at an international company or startup
