The company specializes in the mass adoption of cryptocurrencies for the consumer sector. They are entering the 'scale-up' phase.
Their primary product is a well-known digital asset wallet (5+ years leading the UK and US markets, with over 5M downloads).
In order to build upon their success and facilitate further growth, the company is expanding their product portfolio. To support this expansion, they are creating a new position within the company — Head of Operations. The new role aims to streamline cryptocurrency operations, encompassing not only the crypto wallet but also related products.
The scope of responsibilities includes 3 main blocks:
Finance:
- PNL preparation and submission of management reports
- Controlling payment for services and work of partners
- Management of Accounting Department
- Opening and maintaining accounts
Legal:
- Maintaining the contracting process with partners and contractors
- Registration of trademarks, legal entities, etc.
- Managing the Legal department. Supervising the claims work
- Obtaining legal opinions, licenses, and permits for operations
People:
- Organizing and maintaining hiring, onboarding, and termination of employees
- Maintaining and developing employee incentives
- Providing material and technical base

Expectations from the candidate:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a managerial role focused on operations or a comparable position
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team
- Flexibility and ability to find non-standard ways of solving problems
- Meticulous attention to detail coupled with a poised and mature outlook
Would be a plus:
- Experience working in popular crypto projects, financial or IT companies
- Experience with blockchain products
- Knowledge and understanding of basic security practices
