inDrive is an international ride-hailing service headquartered in Mountain View, CA. inDrive app's downloads exceed 150M, the company is operating in 614+ cities in 47 countries.
The New Ventures division is engaged in the development of new inDrive business verticals, including investments in startups with a unique market fit. The company is looking for a person who will be responsible for all operational processes, in particular for the processes of interaction with the startups in which the company invests.
What you'll do:
- Assistance to startups with operational resources and integration into the inDrive structure
- Define OKRs, KPIs and build business cases for high impact projects. Compile the budget and plug into inDriver's financial planning process
- Ensure operation of company’s offices in countries of presence, incorporation of new businesses in launching countries, relationships of regional companies with the holding company
- Formulate business strategy with others in the executive team
- Work with business, marketing, finance and legal functions to gain alignment and broker effective working. Report to VP on the progress of work streams, and be the first to flag risks and sensitivities
- Develop presentations, reports, and analysis to shape strategy and execution. Collaborate on business reporting to increase clarity and define strategic direction for all teams
- Oversee expenses and budgeting to help the organization optimize costs and benefits
- Participation in M&A transactions
Expectations from you:
- Experience in consulting or strategy work in a large business, project or operations management, or investment banking (4+ years preferred)
- Work experience in a technology company, in particular, an operational marketplace, will be a competitive advantage
- Responsibility for growth initiatives in a medium or large consumer-facing business, with a fluency in acquisition / adoption / retention metrics, and the performance levers that drive them
- Critical and structured thinking, with a natural curiosity and confidence to seek out answers, and propose solutions where there may not yet be an answer
- Extraordinary collaborator, and someone who proactively partners across teams, able to influence senior and external stakeholders
- Financial proficiency, comfortable understanding P&L's
- Ambitious mentality as a builder or fixer of businesses or processes
- Readiness for relocation to the company's office in UAE
- Fluent English and Russian
