Responsibilities:
Manage daily operations in Steel Products export sales through the full deal life-cycle from documentation instructions, logistics planning, inspection companies coordination, demurrage, counterparty claims management, insurance claims, invoicing, etc.
Deals and contracts management for the smoothest commercial execution (optimisation of funds turnover period)
Coordinate logistics with internal stakeholders (logistic department) and external counterparties
Liaise with internal team such as credit, accounting and trading teams regarding the trading operations and reporting optimization
Participation in the implementation of internal IT trading and accounting platform (lead role in operations) to keep the trading transactions up to date
Deal with daily requests of from Trading and Finance team
Requirements:
Academic background in Economics, International Trade or Commodities Trading (important but not the key)
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Trading and Shipping Operations, ideally in Steel Products trading related to Russian and CIS markets
Perfect knowledge of commercial, cargo documentation, b/l, inspection, LC, customs, demurrage and laytime calculation etc
Fluent in English and Russian any other language is a plus
Strong Team Lead working skills, positive attitude, pro-active and efficient approach to work
Good attention to detail, organized, structured and logical
Awareness of Credit Recovery, Procedures, Compliance Policy
Conditions:
Head of Operations in Russian (Moscow) representative office of stable and constantly growing Swiss trading company (turnover exceeding USD 600 mln) within the scope of one of the largest Russian steel producing groups.
Location: Moscow City (Imperia Tower)
Schedule: from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
