The role of Head of Content (NEWS) is the development and optimization of the content department. Head of Content (NEWS) ensures that all the businesss narratives and message are in support of the content strategies and editorial decisions that he formulates along with the VP of Content. Head of Content (NEWS) lead the NEWS content department team.
Your Responsibilities:
- Head of Content (NEWS) lead and inspire the content department personnel to ensure optimal delivery of content to target audiences across multiple NEWS channels on different platforms (Youtube as a main one) of Company and Companys clients;
- Managing video content in an efficient and effective manner on YouTube and other platforms;
- Developing new strategies of channel development (including producing of video content production)
- Monitoring and preparing an analytical reports on content performance while offering suggestions for continuous improvement;
- Exploring and developing new ways to increase viewers engagement;
- Monetization management operations in line with the VP of Content;
- Tasks settings to designers (thumbnails, channels design and etc);
- Reporting to VP of Content.
Qualifications:
- Proven work experience with NEWS content as an editor / journalist / correspondent;
- Department management skills (work experience as a chief editor / ommissioning editor);
- Fluency in English;
- Demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics and promotion tools knowledge;
- Decent skills of creating, assembling and editing presentations (PPT / Keynote);
- High organization with the ability to multitask, prioritize and handle time efficiently;
- Eye for detail;
- Analytical mind;
- Passionate about political NEWS content;
- Ability to effectively work and communicate.
Bonus Skills and Experience:
- Experience in working with YouTube channels is a plus;
- Experience in analytical presentations creating;
- Video editing skills.
