Airbus is looking for a Head of Marketing.

 

Responsibilities:

  • There is a maximum understanding of the jobholder’s market in terms of market trends, airline business drivers and airline requirements, allowing to develop an effective Marketing strategy, build content to influence the market with maximum impact, and identify product development needs that will enhance Airbus product attractiveness and value in sales campaigns
  • Superior value of Airbus products and fleet solutions relative to the competition are demonstrated to and recognised by the airline, as a major essential and decisive step for a favourable purchasing decision
  • Marketing campaigns in the job-holder’s region are optimally covered according to objectives, workload, complexity and resource levels, with a sound Marketing strategy in place
  • The messages used are consistently in line with the Marketing strategy, messages and party lines across the Commercial Directorate
  • The necessary interaction takes place between Airline Marketing and other areas of Marketing, the Commercial Directorate and Airbus, to ensure that Airline Marketing staff has and will have the most effective argumentation, the right tools, equipment, data, information, processes, level and skills at their disposal to ensure maximum efficiency in their work
  • Achieving Airbus Commercial objectives through maximum valuation of Airbus products in airline evaluations
  • Maintaining high market share achieved in sales in the region
  • Enhancing Airbus image and promoting Airbus interests in the jobholder’s regions
  • Internal understanding, incl. at Senior Management level, of Airbus position in Sales campaigns, enhancing deal profitability and chances of campaign success
  • Internal communication and interaction to foster innovation in marketing argumentation, and development of new generation of marketing tools and software

 

Qualifications:

  • Master degree in Aviation, Engineering, Commercial or Finance
  • 10 years related working experience in the airline or aviation industry
  • Customer focus
  • Fluent in Mandarin to facilitate good customer communication
  • Strong leadership skills and team management experiences
  • Engage and develop a team with team spirit
  • Be creative and full of energy to take new challenges
  • Business travels will be required
  • Strong interest in aviation, open minded, easy going
