Bayer is looking for a Head of Market Insights & NRM (Cluster Russia & CIS).

 

Division: Consumer Health.

 

Position purpose:
Organizes the workflow of the department to ensure CH business with rigorous Market research outcome and NRM expertise, drives the process behind it and support Cluster to meet growth and profitability targets. Head of Market Insights & NRM manage evaluation of effectiveness of promotional spend, market & price & portfolio opportunities development. Supports group collaboration with Marketing, Sales and Finance teams to develop NRM initiatives, improve effectiveness of promotional spends and generate relevant market insights and forecasts, controls these are embedded into brand marketing plans and strategy.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Perform the management of the department (members planning, hiring, evaluation, development etc.)
  • Ensure and control the development, implementation, correctness, and timely regular market reporting to CH departments. Controls and supports the processes, essential for adaptation of the research data bases of the retail audit to the business demands (business steering meetings, brands performance evaluation, market segmentation and categorization, competitive sets definition)
  • Ensure development and preparation of market forecast & growth trends data, rigorous market insights generation, market categories and segments, models competitive markets/groups with the purpose of effective planning, forecasting and revenue growth initiatives development. Monitors the branch development, changes, using the open information sources, market research, consumer information, information on suppliers, competitor, etc. Studies the competitive environment, traces and analyses successful technologies and complex business decisions, which can be beneficial for Cluster
  • Manage development of integrated NRM plan in Cluster Russia and CIS in order to support Cluster to meet Net Revenue and Gross Profit ambitions
  • Provide challenge & quality control for outputs & recommendations for Cluster Russia and CIS
  • Build NRM and Market insight capability longer term in Cluster Russia and CIS in order to increase Cluster competitive advantage
  • Ensure adherence to industry-specific codes of practice or conduct, advertising codes, regulatory directives and guidelines, as applicable to the role, and to the Program for Legal Compliance and Corporate Responsibility at Bayer

 

Important for company:

  • Higher financial / mathematical / technical education
  • 5+ years’ experience at Business Analytics / Market Research position in multinational FMCG or Consumer Health company or Revenue Growth manager / Sales effectiveness consultant
  • People management / Project Management experience 3+ years
  • Knowledge of NRM (pricing, price pack architecture, promo, mix and trade terms management levers), effectiveness evaluation and market insights methodology, analyses, outputs and process
  • Ability to manage data, perform analysis distil insights
  • Ability to identify opportunities, develop and evaluate initiatives
  • Ability to drive NRM and market research content development – apply and adapt standard methodology for local market requirements, focus on key issues, guide iteration of the analyses, identify next steps, focus on major opportunities, develop actionable recommendations
  • Ability to aggregate opportunities and market insights into a holistic integrated business plan
  • Ability to communicate messages in simple and visual but data and insight driven way, package insights into coherent story flow to best facilitate decision making
  • Ability to manage a complex cross-functional process, influence stakeholders across functions, facilitate decision making, resolve differences
  • Deep understanding of market context: market trends, channel dynamics, competitors activities; consumers and shoppers; brand P&L and key P&L drivers; value and growth drivers in the category
  • English level – Fluent
