Multinational corporation (consumer, retail, TMT, real estate and industrials) looking for an experienced M&A professional to take up the position of Head of M&A in Moscow, working as a decentralised team alongside the HQ team of 20, and reporting directly into the Global Head.
You will be leading the day to day management of full life-cycle transactions which includes preparation of information memoranda, senior management presentations, valuation and analysis and taking ownership of all client communications. Full analyst support will be provided from HQ on demand.
The role is ideal for an experienced M&A professional, who has successfully originated and closed M&A transactions in Russia, and has an excellent knowledge of the financial markets in Moscow.
Requirements:
Significant and relevant experience directing M&A transactions across multiple sectors, preferably with a mix of banking and industry based exposure
Consumer and TMT sector experience strongly preferred
In-depth operational and valuation experience and an ability to generate new business via existing relationships as well as origination skills
Strong and deep network of key players and advisors in the geographic region of the role
Excellent numeracy skills with keen attention to detail and the ability to absorb and analyse large amounts of data quickly
Financial modeling skills using Excel and managing complex models (DCF, MBO etc)
Strong interpersonal skills with the desire to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and to meet deadlines and achieve time-sensitive KPIs
Native or business fluency in the language of your location of operation
Highly entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to flex and adapt to the demands of a setting up a new regional hub
A Masters in Business, Accounting, Finance or Economics
Current citizenship; passport holder and/or work authorisation for Russia
