Job description:
Supervise and coach logistic team (5 people);
Implement best practices Logistics processes and authority;
Implement regular tendering process for logistic contracts;
Continual improvement process and cost reduction initiatives (calculation of the most profitable delivery way);
Coordination for incoming and outgoing logistics, including the construction of a workflow that meets all the requirements of Russian legislation;
Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency;
Responsible for coordinating communication with other departments;
Budgeting control of Logistic department (personal cost control);
Control and coordination of work performed by the In-house declarant and contractor customs broker;
Calculate the amount of Customs duties and taxes to be paid;
Control and coordination of certification process in terms of Russian Technical Regulation requirements;
Control and manage the correct document flow (including accuracy of incoming delivery documents) with logistic providers;
Financial control over payments to freight forwarders, customs;
Control of regular reports to different authorities;
Develop and maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements.
Requirements :
A minimum of 3 years strong managerial experience in multinational companies as a Logistic Manager or Head of Logistic department;
Good organization and communication skills;
Incoterms 2010-2020, Import and freight forwarding contracts, ADR, food chemicals, transporting expertise;
Knowledge in Technical Regulations and Customs Legislation;
Knowledge of transport documentation requirements (truck, sea, intermodal deliveries), careful with details;
Strong computer skills in main business applications, ERP/CRM, Electronic Document Flow (SBIS, KONTUR);
Supportive mindset, troubleshooter both in internal and external communication;
A creative mind with an ability to suggest improvements;
Self-motivation and ability to achieve goals and fulfill plans within tight timeframes;
Strong business record in reduction of freight costs and logistic set up optimization;
Strong knowledge of optimization process in material flow (both transportation and storage);
English on Upper-Intermediate Level.
