А leading global medicines company Novartis is looking for а Head of Legal to provide effective legal counsel to assigned business functions, senior leadership teams for a country organization through business partnering, acting as a legal advisor and Business Partner by shaping their business decisions, negotiating contracts, managing litigation and counselling on substantive area legal issues.
Your responsibilities include, but not limited:
Acting as a legal Business Partner to the Country Head in all activities relating to the contractual negotiations and statutory obligations
Drafting complex transactions and contracts independently and provide complex and contextual legal advice and guidance (incl. training of key customers in specified legal areas)
Risks identification relating to business activities and potential solutions thereof; raise business’ awareness of legal issues and ensure early legal involvement
Conducting robust risk assessments that substantiate recommendations, and advise on and determine appropriate actions to support the management decision processes
Managing significant disputes and litigation and/or investigations and make decisions independently within a broad framework.
Leading large or complex legal projects and transactions based on deep legal expertise and provide legal support for commercial initiatives and activities
You would be a good match for this role, if you have:
Mature leader experience to manage a senior team of professionals;
Excellent interpersonal skills to manage the stakeholders across the matrix
Pharma industry experience is preferred, ideally background in a regulated environment
Both fluent English and Russian
