What You’ll Do:
- Provide overall coordination of processes related to the design, development, and delivery of the EPAM Language Training Curriculum
- Manage learning projects, including client relationships, project team members, resource plans, staffing, timelines, and budgets
- Supervise QA and continuous improvement of the in-company language curriculum
- Consult on the best approach to close skill gaps with high-impact learning experiences
- Work with internal stakeholders to identify target audience's learning needs
- Set learning objectives appropriate to learner and program needs
- Select, modify and create compelling content aligned to learning objectives
- Conceptualize storyboards and work with graphic designers and multimedia developers to create effective instructional assets (e.g., ILT slides, video, eLearning interactives)
- Devise modes of assessment to measure the effectiveness of element, module, or course
- Apply adult learning principles and best practices in instructional design to all activities
- Build strong relationships with internal teams to leverage internal tools and resources
What You Have:
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills. Careful listener and good communicator (speaking and writing)
- Formal education in the English Language Teaching or Instructional Design
- 5+ years of materials design (for both online and face-to-face instruction)
- Expert knowledge of instructional design methodologies including but not limited to: ADDIE model, SAM, backward design, design thinking, and interactive learning experiences
- Expert knowledge of assessing learning and program impact
- Expert knowledge of ELT methodologies, adult learning theory, and online learning principles
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment on a team with highly-skilled and engaged colleagues
- Passion, energy, a positive mindset, and a 'can-do' attitude
- Ability to manage multiple projects and distributed teams, prioritize, work independently, and meet strict deadlines
Nice to have:
- Working knowledge of authoring tools to create sophisticated adaptive learning content
- Good eye for visual design
