Key responsibilities include the following:

  • Directs the development, partner relationships, servicing of national/key accounts to achieve business sales objectives
  • Build positive relationships and partnerships with internal and external customers to develop loyalty and leverage sales effectiveness
  • Reports sales results against forecasts to senior management as well as any adjustments made to business plans to ensure objectives are met
  • Develop account level strategies and tactics to achieve measurable sales and performance objectives for health systems
  • Approves incentive plan parameters and goals as well as ad hoc plans and contests
  • Leading a high-level team to achieve on-time results and full execution
  • Performs plans for sales, listing of the necessary assortment, new products, rotation and carrying out planned trade marketing activities
  • Ensures effective planning, implementation, control and administration of budgets
  • Participates in the preparation of sales plans and campaigns, business plans and product development plans. Develops and monitors departmental budget. Monitors progress and verifies corrective action has been initiated when necessary
  • Establishes and manages effective programs to provide mentorship in order to build a high performing team
  • Monitors and promptly resolves issues on accounts receivable
  • Presents periodic sales reports to management with proposed plan changes

 

Qualifications:

  • Higher education is required
  • 10+ years related experience in Consumer Health environment required
  • Proven experience of working in the Pharmacy channel required
  • Team collaboration and mentor skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an open, collaborative, interactive leadership style
  • Prompt, reliable and high-quality forecasting, taking into account possible variables
  • Candidates must have deep understanding of Pharmacy industry, strategic planning and organizational skills
  • Candidates must be results oriented, have demonstrated thought-leadership abilities, and the ability to work within a cross-functional, matrixed team
  • Ability to travel up including domestic and international travel is required
  • Fluent English
