Ostrovok is looking for a smart, fast, and curious Head of IT Recruitment. This person will become the first executive search consultant in large recruitment team and will work directly with Talent Acquisition Director and the executive team of the company.
HR department is composed of several divisions:
- Recruitment and adaptation works with potential employees and apprentices, and also helps newcomers quickly understand what’s what. Training and development is responsible for helping employees master new skills and improving their current skills. HR Admin transfers working processes to the legal field without the complications and impositions of bureaucracy. HR Business Partners do everything to foster a mutual understanding between HR and business, to simplify communications, and to resolve disputes. Office administration makes our life more comfortable and more beautiful by equipping the office, arranging office parties, and helping to organize hackathons and other events. We also have a Culture and Performance Review departments
- HR department interact with all departments, but it is absolutely not necessary to be in the office – we are focused on results. You can choose to work from home, from the office, or a combination of the two

Responsibilities will include:
- The company is looking for a highly motivated professional with a high level of energy, an awesome sense of humor, a positive outlook on life, and ready to apply all their experience and gain new knowledge for the benefit of a fast-growing travel tech business. Need a leader who will double the number of closures for the upcoming year - for example, the IT hiring team closed 109 vacancies in 2022, and they have already closed 179 in 2023.
- Manage and lead the IT recruitment team, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure their success (we already have a team of 10 amazing IT-recruiters)
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment within the IT recruitment team, encouraging collaboration, innovation, and professional growth
- Develop and implement recruitment processes that are efficient, effective, and aligned with the company's goals and values. Drive the strategic development of the IT recruitment department, transforming it from a reactive to a proactive function
- Meet quarterly hiring targets for IT and Digital streams, including development (web and mobile), testing, product and project management, business analysis, and analytical development
- Track and achieve key recruitment metrics, such as time-to-fill, offer acceptance rate, hiring manager satisfaction, and recruitment team productivity
- Regularly engage with hiring managers to review monthly results, provide reports, identify bottlenecks, and address any current challenges
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in IT recruitment, and apply this knowledge to continuously improve the hiring process
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless and integrated recruitment experience for candidates and hiring managers. Participate in exciting HR projects and contribute your ideas and expertise to drive positive changes in our organization
You are a Good Fit:
- If you are passionate about delivering exceptional recruitment experiences to both candidates and hiring managers, then we are the perfect match. We value a client-centric approach that puts businesses at the forefront
- More than 7 years of experience in the recruiting field, with a main focus on hiring IT specialists
- More than 3 years successful experience managing a team of 10 or more employees, preferably with multiple levels of leadership
- We are particularly interested in candidates with a background in product/IT companies boasting a workforce of 1000 employees or more
- Skills in building recruitment processes from scratch will be an advantage, as well as the ability to modify established processes
- In addition to your recruitment proсess, ability to independently manage HR projects. Your involvement in cross-functional projects, whether within the HR department or collaborating with other departments, has proven your versatility
- To thrive in this role, an advanced level of English is essential
