The Technology Alignment Lead primary responsibility will be to ensure the alignment of the Global Technology Market team with the Global Technology strategy, the Russian business plan and the technology partners’ standards of service. This role will lead the project management, vendor management functions and facilitate the strategic planning process in a professional and timely manner whilst always adhering to the McDonald’s Global Technology standards. The Technology Plan Lead will be responsible for managing personnel, team schedules, assisting the team in prioritizing workload, being an escalation point for complex issue resolution, and supporting the completions of all project, partner or planning related tasks correctly and in a timely manner.
Project management responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Facilitate the delivery of all projects on-time, within scope and within budget in partnership with both internal and external stakeholders
Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all stakeholders and ensuring feasibility
Ensure resource availability and allocation
Develop a detailed project plan to monitor/ track progress and to be shared with stakeholders
Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification
Report and escalate to management as needed
Manage the relationship with the market, operators and vendors involved in the project
Perform risk management to minimize project risks
Meet budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation (spreadsheets, diagrams, process maps, etc.)
Vendor management responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Manage external vendors relationships with the Global Technology Market organisation
Leverage vendor engagement & McDonald’s global scale to deliver greater business value and efficiencies
Perform as functional bridge between vendors and internal stakeholders
Coordinate all vendor management tasks and drive standardisation in alignment with internal stakeholders
Develop workflows, processes and policies for vendors integration and alignment
Engage in vendor governance, due diligence, risk assessment activities
Develop tools (metrics, SLA/SLO/KPI, contractual obligations, etc.) to hold the vendor accountable for their performance; track, measure and report against it
Analyse vendor shortcomings and present to management as required
Coordinate vendor selection, on-boarding, termination and improvement processes
Identify and implement continuous improvements in the vendor management process
Strategic planning responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Compile roadmaps to materialize the Global Technology strategy and Russian business objectives
Engage other markets and global organisations to identify technology opportunities
Assess the Russian technology projects delivery and operational performance
Align processes, resources-planning and department goals with Global Technology and business strategies
Support technology team leads in making effective decisions
Construct financial, projects and operational forecasts and analytical models
Compile organisation budgets and monitor ongoing spend
Report on the various technology status and capabilities at the Global Technology or business request
