UNIQLO is looking for a Head of IT Department.

 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Building and maintaining solid relationships with all key business stakeholders, local and global to understand the business needs and priorities that will drive business objectives; provide best solutions to lead the business
  • Projects execution control together with managing global systems deployments, finding proper IT solutions
  • Planning and executing corporate IT strategy
  • Managing IT landscape within the company, control service contracts within agreed SLAs
  • Leading IT organization, managing the local IT team
  • Developing and improving IT policies and systems to support strategy implementation set by Top management
  • Assisting building relationships with vendors and creating cost-efficient contracts
  • Analyzing the business requirements of all departments to determine their technology needs
  • Preparing budget for local IT department and aligning with global one
  • Controlling all the processes related to IT during company expansion, providing full support to offline stores maintaining and developing store-related IT systems and solutions with a strong store-centric mentality
  • Recommending architectural improvements, design solutions and integration solutions

  • Commit for team members’ growth. Set high targets to oneself and the team, and boost team’s performance through daily challenges leading members to success
  • Be a problem solver and demonstrate a high level of analytical skills in order to identify problems in advance, foresee potential risks, and come up with solutions
  • Always think a few steps ahead, anticipating opportunities and Company’s needs
  • Have a quality high level discussion with management leadership to identify key expectation and challenges, then reflect these into strategy and KPIs
  • Be proactive to try for new strategy, methods and approaches by convincing key stakeholders, and also by encouraging the team. Aspire to make a breakthrough in current operations
  • Always aim at highest possible standards and perfection in everything, never stop to improve oneself and search for new innovative solutions
  • Collaborate effectively with key stakeholders, control every project with excellent quality and time management

 

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of work experience in IT with minimum 4 years of experience in managing teams
  • Previous experience working in an international environment
  • Higher education in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
  • Certificates of Completion of Additional IT Courses
  • Excellent understanding of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases and data storage systems, and telecommunications systems
  • Ability to understand network technologies, knowledge of cloud solutions is required
  • Project management solid skills
  • Understanding of IT methodologies and best practices such as ITIL, etc.
  • Understanding and adhering to current government laws specifically for IT
  • Solid knowledge of the basics of technical documentation development
  • Excellent leadership and decision-making skills
  • Fluent English
