Perfetti Van Melle is a famous international company that produces well-known in the whole world confectionary products Fruitella, Mentos, Meller, Chupa-Chups, Sula.
This position is responsible for the short and long-term technology strategy. This includes designing and maintaining the infrastructure, addressing security needs, providing helpdesk support, and initiating development projects. This position interacts directly with end users, managers and directors and multiple 3rd party service providers. This position has a key role in shaping the company’s application portfolio, understanding and acting upon business needs and implement new applications hand-in-hand with the business owners.
Key Responsibilities:
IT Strategy:
- Work with directors to develop, implement and update a comprehensive IT strategy for the organization
- Reviews the business strategies and aligns the IT strategy accordingly
- Sets priorities of service development programs/ projects accordingly
- Define IT infrastructure strategy, architecture, and processes
IT Project Management:
- Effectively leads projects using project management best practices to ensure initiatives are delivered on time and on budget
balances varying priorities of projects
Business Relationship Management:
- Maintaining a positive relationship with stakeholders
- Identifying business requirements by partnering with key stakeholders across the organization their needs and ensuring that the IT is able to meet these requirements
- Reports to the Management Team on a regular basis regarding ongoing IT projects and initiatives
- Maintains key contacts to PVM Group IT to follow the IT development of our financial shareholder and links it to local initiatives
Application management:
- Manages the portfolio of applications used within PVM Russia
- Establishes IT as first level support with defined applications
- Maintains effective business relationships with all IT service providers
- Assesesses vendors and applications on a regular basis
- Develops the know-how and competences of application’s key users
- Encourages the further development of business applications together with application owner
Innovation management:
- Promotes innovative IT tools simplifying business processes, enabling new ways of working and communicating with each other
- Pro-actively shows different ways of working by using IT tools
- Support all departments in making their systems and processes more efficient through the use of IT
Compliance Management:
- Ensures that IT standards and guidelines are followed, also by issuing IT policies
- Assures that external legal requirements are fulfilled
Capacity Management:
- Responsible for ensuring that services and infrastructure are able to deliver the agreed capacity and performance targets in a cost effective and timely manner
- Considers all resources required to deliver the service, and plans for short, medium and long term business requirements
Information Security Management - Responsible for ensuring the confidentiality, integrity and availability of an organization’s assets, information, data and IT services
- Cooperates on an organizational approach to Security Management which has a wider scope than the IT service provider with the Security &
- Compliance Manager, and includes building access, phone calls etc., for the entire organization
Risk management:
- Responsible for identifying, assessing and controlling risks.
- Flags risks impacting the performance or availability of IT systems with stakeholders
- Includes analyzing the value of IT assets to the business, identifying threats to those assets, and evaluating how vulnerable each asset is to those threats
Budget and cost management:
- Responsible for budget forecasting a controlling
IT organization and people development:
- Redesign the IT-organization as a stand-alone IT organization
- Onboard the right talent for a future stand-alone IT organization
- Build a high-performing IT team
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of IT management experience in manufacturing or FMCG companies
- Passion to develop peopled with a proven track record
- Sound understanding of manufacturing and FMCG business processes and automation means
- Experience leading and managing large IT projects and rolling out IT infrastructures across various technologies
- Excellent working knowledge of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases and data storage systems and data
- Independent and pro-active executor
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Excellent project management skills and strong ability to prioritize
- Firm grasp on IT infrastructure and operations best practices
- Deep understanding of ITIL/ITSM Principles
- Resourcefulness and problem-solving attitude
- Excellent communication skills
- Self-motivation in education
- Fluent English
