About the team:
Miro’s Communications Team is a dynamic set of self-starters responsible for ensuring that Miro’s unique story is told far and wide. This role will report to Miro’s Head of Communications and be a critical part of the communications leadership team, as well as a key advisor to senior leadership. Each role at Miro is based at one of physical hubs and company looks for talent that want to be part of these local, collaborative communities. Mironeers work in a hybrid model, with a 3 days a week in office culture as baseline.
About the role:
As Head of Internal Communications, you will be responsible for crafting and implementing a comprehensive communications program to support employees’ understanding of Miro's priorities, organizational changes and business developments using out-of-the-box thinking and creative approaches. You will also ensure employees have a consistent experience across geographies and team.
What you’ll do:
- Design and implement a comprehensive, multi-channel communications strategy to educate, engage and delight a diverse, global Mironeers community
- Serve as a partner and strategic counsel to senior leaders regarding organizational announcements
- Establish and maintain, in conjunction with the People team, a series of Miro events and rituals that cultivate a culture of belonging
- Define and track metrics that help correlate internal communications efforts to Mironeers' understanding, engagement, and performance
- Build and foster a team of communications professionals responsible for the unique needs of key business units
What you'll need:
- 10+ years of communications experience, with a proven track record in internal communications for a high-growth, global organization
- Proven experience building strategic internal communications programs, including experience with various platforms, technologies, and vehicles for disseminating information
- Outstanding oral and written communications skills, with an attention to detail in every aspect of work
- Excellent relationship management and cross-functional collaboration skills, with particular attention to executive support
- Track record of using data and metrics to measure communications effectiveness and impact, and demonstrated ability to make adjustments accordingly
