The UK’s largest provider of NHS health care services NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is looking to appoint a new Head of Human Resources-Clyde Sector.
About you:
The successfully appointed candidate will have a high profile role at a time of change and transformation and will be a key player leading the performance and direction for the provision of all aspects of the Human Resources agenda . A significant and key priority for that agenda will be the provision of Human Resources support and guidance to senior clinical leads and operational management across the Clyde sector as they continue to respond to a prolonged period of operational challenges and workforce pressures due to the COVID-19 pandemic and plan the delivery of the key priorities and actions for the Board’s Remobilisation Plan.
As the most senior professional advisor in relation to all Human Resources matters the post holder will lead on all corporate workforce matters in relation to Human Resources, Workforce Planning, Organisational Development, Learning and Education, Service Redesign and Reform and Health and Safety for the Clyde Sector.
This role requires candidates who can bringing ambitious and innovative thinking and external best practices to the role. At the same time will demonstrate, through experience, extensive knowledge and expertise in Human Resources management, strategy and policy development including service improvement and sustainability, financial and capacity planning and above all a proven record of implementation of organisation redesign and change.
Candidates will be educated to or studying towards a masters level qualification in a relevant subject (or equivalent relevant experience). An essential requirement of the role is membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD).
