В финтех-компанию Pyypl требуется Head of GTM Strategy and Market Intelligence.

 

Pyypl is a pioneering FinTech company rolling out services in multiple countries in the Middle East, Africa, and Central Asia region. Pyypl (pronounced “people”) has recently been selected in the Top 10 Start-up’s in the UAE for 2021 by LinkedIn. Company is proudly regulated by various financial services regulators, and Group Headquarters is based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
To boost growth, company is now looking for an energetic, skillful individual to join Market Expansion Team as a Head of GTM Strategy and Intelligence. Company requires an exceptional team player to support vision, to inspire, exhilarate and delight customers with human and memorable experiences through culture, design thinking and innovation. 

 

What this really means as a Pyypler? 

  • Key role is to lead both GTMS and Market Intelligence verticals within the Market Expansion Department
  • The ideal candidate has top tier management consulting leadership experience and sales/business development leadership experience. They have strong business analysis, with a track record in consulting, sales, and go-to-market. Focused on identifying customer objectives, developing win-win strategies, and enabling sales and or business development teams to think big and move fast

What will you be doing? 

  • Develop, re-define and validate Go-to-Market and Expansion strategies for all new Pyypl markets
  • Spearhead the commercial expansion for all relevant departments such as Sales, Product, Digital Growth, Finance, Partnerships, Operations and Regulatory Growth
  • Own the design, activation, iteration, and ongoing measurement of all commercial-launch related Game-plans taking place for new country launches. You will be the ultimate owner of the GTMS document used by the company, to accelerate user acquisition and revenue growth, setting up the foundations of a successful business
  • Work effectively with other managers within the expansion team and to an extent with the company’s senior management. You must be able to cut through the red lines within the departments and get other senior managers to deliver/execute their parts when needed
  • Run all GTM processes as a program, elevate/enhance them to create an ultimate and final “Pyypl Expansion playbook”
  • Manage the market intelligence team; study, analyze and decode market conditions, regulations, competitors, products, business publications and customer segments, build market research and intelligence reports accordingly, to direct company decision making and support other departments

 

What do you need to be successful in this position? 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Engineering or a related field. MBA or similar relevant advanced degree is highly preferred
  • 10+ years of developing Go to Market, Sales Strategy, Sales Operations, Sales Excellence, Sales Finance or similar function for a fast-paced sales organization
  • Strong analytical, hands-on and problem-solving experience within top-tier management consulting firms, preferably in B2C or B2B operations, focused on launching new markets in MENA regions
  • Expert in data analysis with excellent presentation skills, guiding strategic decisions and enhance sales' ability to go-to-market. Strong ability to develop hypotheses, work with complex analyses, synthesize findings and formulate strategic recommendations to accelerate business outcomes
  • Advanced understanding of the sales methodologies, sales behaviors, sales processes, contract structures, customer incentives and negotiations
  • Highly experienced in building research reports, competitive analysis, GTM-Game plans and marketing strategies for Telco or Fintech related products in Africa and the Middle East is highly preferred. Experience in FMCG is also accepted
  • Project management and multi-tasking skills to manage business mechanisms and cross-functional stakeholder teams. Ability to navigate culture and politics across multiple functions to establish buy-in for go-to-market strategy
  • Attention to detail and ability to produce high quality work under tight timelines. Highly preferable to have worked in a Start-up and/or is accustomed to an agile fast paced work environment
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel, Word & PowerPoint
  • Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results
  • Highly organized and structured, can work equally well with a team or individually
  • Sales/numbers and project driven personality
  • Exceptional management and leadership skills
