А German mobile neobank N26 is seeking a Head of Global AFC Operations.
In this role, you will:
As the Head of Global Anti Financial Crime Operations, you will be responsible for global evaluations and investigations in financial crime, leading an expert team across all of N26’s markets
Lead and develop the AFC Operations teams to enhance performance by setting clear performance and quality measures
Mentor, coach, and inspire a highly talented team of 50+
Accountable for ensuring full regulatory compliance on a market level
Manage outsourced process streams with external partners
Ensure that the resources are correctly allocated and staffed
Guarantee stable Service Levels in the respective tasks
Support local country MLROs
Use insight and root cause analytics to identify process and product improvements
Collaborate with multiple internal stakeholders across our bank entities, product management, risk, compliance, and legal teams
Help creating an Anti-Financial Crime culture within N26
What you need to be successful:
Background:
8+ years of relevant working experience, preferably with a proven track record as a successful operations leader in the financial industry within a fast-paced environment
Strong professional experience gained in an anti-financial crime, KYC, compliance or risk management role, ideally more than 5 years
Strong track record of leading teams of 30+ people
Skills:

Knowledge of the regulatory environment and relevant processes with regard to topics such as KYC, risk analysis, transaction monitoring, fraud / terrorist financing, sanctions / embargoes
Awareness of the latest technologies and trends related to AFC and KYC
Fluent German and English language skills, additional languages (in particular French, Italian, Spanish) are a plus
