Barcelona-based startup and the fastest-growing delivery player in Europe Glovo is looking to hire a Head of Expansion.
BE A PART OF A TEAM WHERE YOU WILL:
Manage a portfolio of existing cities, ensuring their correct performance and complying with an ambitious growth plan
Fully own our new launches strategy in Spain
Lead and grow a team of launchers and their direct reports, who will be the executors of your strategy (team of 40 people)
Be the GM’s right-hand in any topic related to expansion or Small and Medium (S/M) cities, setting country-wide targets and the 70/20/10 strategy
Be responsible for a correct and rigorous mapping of the market, always looking for new opportunities
Be prepared to take quick data-driven actions with limited historic available, and be flexible to change course if needed
Be the representative for Glovo’s Expansion for press, launch events, conferences, and media interactions
Cultivate relationships internally to be the voice of your cities within Iberia’s team, and also externally to truly understand the local needs of our Glovers, partners and users
Lead by example by being incredibly truth seeking, making data-driven decisions, and setting the high standards for your team
YOU HAVE:
Minimum of 8+ years of experience, including 3+ years managing teams and working with senior management
Ability to work with remote teams through clear and concise communication
Experience in similar industries, strategy/operations’ consulting or technology companies will be valued
Ability to balance swift pace of execution with attention to detail
Proficient in English and Spanish
Analytical profile, goal-oriented, and teamwork
