A Head of Dubai Office is searched for an international private equity fund in Dubai, UAE.
Main responsibilities of the specialist will include:
- Setting-up office from scratch: strategy development, robust administrative policies, procedures, controls, effective KPIs, staff hire
- Setting-up company framework and develop the governance framework.
- Establishing and maintaining strong professional relationships with investors, custodians, counterparty brokers, banks, auditors, accountants and other service providers.
- Overusing and managing all aspects of the business such as Legal, Tax, risk management, Accounting, HR, and Operations.
- Providing operational support and closing services on multiple private equity transactions, including processing share purchase agreements and share transfers, communicating with banks, legal and financial advisors, etc.
- Building up, implementing and monitoring operational and P&L control systems. Drive budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Managing employees.
Main requirements are:
- University degree in Finance/Legal/ Management or related field
- 5-7+ years of local experience in the Operations / Finance/ Legal / Risk Management
- Understanding of local laws and regulations
- Strong relations with local banks, law firms, financial advisers, government agencies
- Fluent English
- High motivated, ambitious; team player, results-oriented
