Bayer looking for Head of Customer Marketing.

 

Key Tasks & Responsibilities:
Lead the marketing community towards developing talents and harmonized, excellent processes;
Align the CIS approach with global and regional strategies and guidance;
Lead the strategy development for crops within our Crop Protection and Seeds Portfolio based on our chosen MWB’s to ensure longer term strategic opportunities in key grower segments are captured;
Drive the content definition, tailoring and implementation of integrated customer campaigns aligned with the customer journey and relevant customer insights;
Provide leadership for the preparation of long-term marketing plans by establishing key marketing objectives in terms of sales revenue, integrated gross profit and market share and to initiate and monitor the performance of annual marketing plans for all key products incorporating strategies for product innovation, packaging, distribution differentiation and post patent defence;
Identify and prioritise the development of new products and technology by encouraging the interface between international product management and the business teams to identify new products, new uses for existing products or new technology to profitably grow the business and prioritise these opportunities for maximum long term profitability and strategic positioning of the company;
Lead the business teams by ensuring they are operating in an innovative, creative environment where individual accountabilities are clearly understood and the necessary training and development is provided to achieve maximum individual motivation and improved business results;
Lead the successful development of efficient systems to support the implementation of licensing, stewardship and marketing programs on an annual basis;
Manage third party relationships by maintaining the existing 3rd party supply contracts through regular contact with suppliers and initiate contract changes as necessary to achieve company objectives and also initiate the negotiations for new product development and distribution contracts with 3rd party suppliers to fill portfolio gaps;
To manage the annual expenditure budget for the marketing department which is necessary to achieve planned product and corporate objectives;
Create and develop new business models creating value for both Bayer and our customers using seeds, crop protection, digitalization and different available tools;
Coordinate the territory marketing activities;
Coordinate claim management;
Contribute actively in the S&OP;
Drive the implementation of marketing excellence in the all organization.

 

Qualifications & Competencies:
University Degree with track record in sales, marketing, business development or strategic planning;
A deep understanding and technical knowledge of the agriculture sector and market landscape across all portfolio areas;
Full P&L responsibility experience;
Strong people management experience;
Demonstrated problem solving skills to understand and manage volatile, rapidly changing markets;
Ability to develop and implement successful strategic business plans aligned to customer needs within the ag sector across the cluster/country group.
