В traveltech-компанию Emerging Travel Group (Ostrovok.ru, B2B.Ostrovok, RateHawk, ZenHotels) ищут Head of Credit & Collection Team.

 

ETG, a global travel-tech group specializing in online booking services, is looking for a finance professional to join the team as a head of the Credit Control Team to ensure efficient cash collection from B2B customers and direct suppliers (accommodation providers). This position reports to the Treasury Director, a Department's middle management team member. ETG group comprises legal entities across the Americas, EMEA, and CIS and has a further pipeline for localization. While focusing on collection activities and defining the group’s credit risk policy, the position has opportunities within the group’s diverse work streams.

 

Job Responsibilities:

Credit & Collection Management:

  • Develop strategies to minimize bad debt and reduce fraud potential
  • Continuously improve the processes and control procedures with a focus on automation, to enhance credit & collection discipline
  • Maintain a balance between ease of credit provision and a high collection rate
  • Partner with legal team to escalate uncollectible ARs for potential legal actions

Financial Analysis:

  • Develop best-in-class AR analytics that provide actionable insights for improving DSO and reducing collection risks, design data-driven experiments for improvements
  • Perform detailed analysis of financial data to proactively manage credit operations and evaluate ongoing credit risks and analytics regularly
  • Improve credit & collection management reports

Internal Compliance:

  • Develop credit & collection policy FAQ for the Commercial Department and ensure compliance with it to elevate customer communications

Other areas: 

  • Manage and develop the team (13 FTE, including collection specialists), sync its targets with the company objectives
  • Train collectors and commercial personnel on new collection initiatives
  • Lead ad hoc projects and support business requests from a credit & collection perspective, specifically the launch of the new legal entities

 

Key Qualifications:

  • University degree in finance, preferably in a quantitative field
  • 5+ years of experience in controller/treasury/banking roles
  • 3+ years of hiring, leading, and developing team experience
  • 2+ years of working with senior staff experience
  • Proven experience with multi-entity or multi-product group, project management
  • Fluent English
  • Location in EU is preferred or plan to relocate to EU in a 1-1.5 year time
  • Strong IT skills with Microsoft Office (Excel & PowerPoint)
  • Experience in accounting systems is a plus
  • Experience in an international corporation and/or IT company is a plus
  • Experience with SQL is a plus
  • Ability to demonstrate sound financial and business judgment, even in ambiguous situations
  • Comfort with handling significant and complex matters with short turnaround times, and delve deep into the processes
