Description:
The Content Development Competency Center (CDCC) is a part of EPAM’s Content Design Center which provides fully customized training solutions to the company’s internal and external clients. The primary duty of the CDCC’s Head is to recruit, develop, and manage a team of instructional designers, as well as oversee the content development process on multiple projects.

 

Your key responsibilities will be:
Establish and execute the overall strategy for the CDCC; set, track, and achieve annual KPIs
Position CDCC as a content development leader among relevant teams and across the company
Build, develop, and lead a team of instructional designers who will create high-quality training that is fully customized to each client’s needs
Guide instructional designers throughout all the ADDIE stages
Coach instructional designers to assume project management responsibilities and collaborate with SMEs and other teams involved in the training development
Occasionally review developed materials and provide feedback to optimize their effectiveness. Monitor learner feedback and solicit client management feedback to ensure satisfaction on each project
Participate in project kick-off meetings and needs assessments with assigned instructional designers. Gain a high-level understanding of each client’s existing training resources and training needs
Ensure that the work is produced on time, reflects the quality expected from CDCC, and achieves the intended results and quality benchmarks
Monitor, recommend, and implement instructional design/content development trends
Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions within CDCC and with other educational teams
Continuously develop and refine internal content creation workflow and standards and promote them across the company
Cultivate relationships with heads of teams within other educational and production teams at EPAM, as well as other stakeholders to develop an agile and responsive process for a reliable, high-quality content development
Develop and administer the annual budget for the team

Your ideal skills and abilities:
Demonstrated abilities in instructional design
Knowledge of industry trends, tools, and best practices
Experience designing and developing educational programs using the latest industry tools and methodologies
Solid knowledge of course development software and at least one Learning Management System
Exceptional organizational and multi-tasking skills
Demonstrated ability to collaborate with associates at all levels; passion for leadership and learning
Strong interpersonal skills in teamwork
Excellent communication (verbal and written) and negotiation skills
Ability to be flexible and adapt to organizational change and unexpected changes that may occur

 

Your minimum qualifications are:
Bachelor’s degree in education, educational psychology, social sciences, or a related field
Excellent written and verbal English skills (C1+)
A minimum of 3 years of experience in designing and developing training materials (preferably, self-paced courses)
A minimum of 3 years of experience in managing a team of 10+ people (preferably, an instructional design team)
