The global leader in eye care Alcon is looking for a Head of communications Russia & DACH.
Main Responsibilities
- Serve as the strategic communications counselor to the Country Franchise Heads in each market;
- Collaborate with Global, International and Country colleagues to develop, deliver and measure Comms/PR programs that support Alcon’s business, digital presence and corporate reputation;
- External (primary focus) initiatives, including media relations, PR campaigns, digital/social communications, media cultivation, CSR activities, approved corporate websites;
- Tailor Global/International campaigns for national implementation, preserving spirit of intent/focusing resources on creative execution (vs. message/core materials development);
- Contribute to Corporate Affairs transformation, focused on new ways of working, standardizing core services and sharing best practices to strengthen our team and the value we deliver to the business and our stakeholders;
- Ensure efficient and timely support for internal associates within Russia & DACH (includes implementing; Global/International programs, unique programs created at the country level); provide support for local change management initiatives
Background and experiences
- University degree;
- At least 6 years of PR/Communications experience (healthcare experience a plus);
- Highly proficient in social and digital, self-motivated enterprise thinker, effective collaborator with the positive attitude and willingness/ability to find proactive, compliant solutions to challenges;
- The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English and German;
- Attentive to details and proactive
