About the role:

  • Business Development and Strategy department is responsible for the CIB strategy development and its implementation, data management, CRM developing, market analysis, assessment of CIB business results, facilitation of CIB budget planning, development and alignment of separate segments/products targets in order to maximize efficiency, realize synergies between segments as well as between products. The department is responsible for CIB data management, setting up the framework for creation and usage of data science and advanced analytics models by CIB teams in order to improve our services for the clients as well as in order to achieve extra financial results. Active promotion and building up of data driven culture in CIB through setting up top notch data infrastructure and developing descriptive, predictive and prescriptive analytics in product and segment teams
  • Business Development and Strategy is also responsible for building and developing CIB CRM system which is responsible for management of client-related data, campaign management across all CIB segments and products in close partnership with sales and product teams. Developing CRM from operational system into advanced analytical tool for proactive data driven sales management, e.g. implementation of benchmarking tools, churn Management, etc.
  • Business Development and Strategy acts as internal consultant and project management team in finding business gaps in processes and services, designing plans for its improvement as well as executing it together with relevant teams in cross-functional setup. Taking the leadership in designing and implementation of these cross-functional (cross-products/segments) initiatives, etc.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Developing and updating CIB strategy, facilitating strategy alignment across multiple teams. Define and implement corporate sales and service models
  • CIB data management, promotion and building up of data driven culture in CIB
  • Developing of CIB CRM system, management of client-related data, campaign management across all CIB segments and products
  • Setting of targets across product and sales teams, tracking progress and KPIs. Independent review of targets and results
  • Represent CIB to Treasury, ensure pricing alignment. Planning liquidity needed by RBRU CIB to achieve the business targets and ongoing communications with Treasury
  • Cross-functional liaison with Risks and Finance divisions, alignment of Risk Underwriting Criteria, Portfolio Limits and other internal rules and regulations. Overall monitoring and steering of RWA consumption in CIB
  • Budgeting, reporting, analysis for CIB (business analysis center)
  • Liaison with RBI, supporting RBI directives implementation

 

Required knowledge and experience:

  • Relevant experience: strategy development and implementation; people management; cross-functional collaboration on executive level; business data analysis, benchmarking; executive relations, influencing; financial industry; targeting, KPIs
  • Expertise: finance; data analysis, math statistics; product management
  • Education: university Degree in Economics or Finance or Math
  • Foreign language: fluent English
  • Skills: leadership and people management; analytical skills; financial planning, budget planning and execution; presentation and negotiation; problem solving; excellent interpersonal skills
