Yandex Education is looking for a Head of Career Center.

 

Yandex Education in Israel operates several local training programs: Y-DATA, Practicum100 bootcamps, and B2B courses in the fields of data science, analytics, and web development. Goal is to help students and graduates avoid common mistakes, accelerate their learning process, and land jobs. Company also helps people start a new career or expand an existing one. And for this, trains students how to prepare CVs, pass interviews, and find their place on the job market. But no matter how well job candidates are trained and prepared for the job hunt, it takes two to tango. On the other side, there are companies hungry for experienced developers and analysts but mostly very reluctant when it comes to juniors. And while company can’t blame them, what company can do is facilitate the daunting process of absorbing juniors in. The Israeli branch of career center works closely with local hi-tech and other companies to build a bridge between the growing community of Yandex Education graduates and the industry. It includes internships, initial candidate assessment and screening, additional on-site training tailored for the companies, and so on. 
The Head of Career Center role is all about the service that will connect companies interested in hiring top-notch talents with graduates from all Yandex programs. Company is looking for an experienced employment partnership strategist to develop and manage pipelines of target partners who would be happy to employ grads.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Design a strategy for a new service for employers based on company`s competitive advantages
  • Determine the needs and wants of employers to co-create solutions
  • Research and identify potential employer partners across different industries
  • Build and manage a team of account and community managers
  • Develop and manage pipelines of target partners or manage and grow existing partnerships
  • Launch and manage various campaigns to schedule introductory calls and demos
  • Manage leads from first contact to partnership execution

 

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of technical recruiting/sourcing experience
  • 1+ years of business development or project management experience
  • Deep understanding of HR practices and principles
  • Interest in examining data and HR metrics to improve the organization
  • Track record of creating solid relationships with internal business partners and stakeholders
  • Ability to build trust and influence at all organizational levels
  • Attention to detail
  • Highly organized and able to prioritize
  • Experience negotiating numerous first-of-a-kind deals and partnerships
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Hebrew

Preferred qualifications:

  • General familiarity with web development and the data field
  • Worked in the EdTech field
