Position purpose:
Developing and maintaining the necessary business competencies of teams and employees at a high level in the area of responsibility by creating and implementing a set of development/training activities for them in accordance with market trends, strategic priorities of the company and business needs independently and through managing a team of business trainers.
Responsibilities:
- Provides an effective business trainers team management to organize the work by recruiting, training, setting tasks and assessing, providing feedback and motivation to achieve set goals and other performance indicators. Identifies talents and determines successors, creates conditions for their development and the development of other team members, works with low-performing employees.
- Analyzes market trends, short-term and long-term business needs and, based on this, prepares, presents and implements strategic plans for the development and training of teams and employees in the area of responsibility, prepares an annual business calendar and makes adjustments if necessary. Ensures the continuity of training and adaptation of new employees of the company.
- Develops and implements new training and development tools, ensures the transition and active use of digital technologies and tools, while working with the team in order to assess the progress of knowledge and skills development of employees, as well as determining the necessary focuses, including employees of different levels and functional areas.
- Ensures the involvement of external expertise by inviting external trainers, purchasing external trainings, takes part in external training programs along with the employees to enrich and improve the effectiveness of internal training activities and processes.
- Participates, initiates and leads business projects aimed at developing team and improving the efficiency of its work. Effectively manages the budget in the area of responsibility to maximize the impact of ongoing training and development activities.
- Supports the development and strengthening of corporate culture, ensures the increase of cross-functional relationships effectiveness, as well as, the quality of external and internal communications that contribute to improving the team's business results, supports and leads the implementation of changes.
- Performs other individual assignments of managers aimed at improving the efficiency of doing business.
Important:
- Higher education.
- 10+ years of experience in large international pharmaceutical or FMCG companies as a business coach, 3+ years of experience in management of training and development function, including responsibility for budget.
- Experience in managing cross-functional projects, programs and implementation of changes, skills in dealing with changing environment, unpredictability, ability to maintain a positive attitude and seek out-of-the-box solutions.
- Experience in working with companies providing training and development services, skills in organizing trainings on adaptation, training events and other employee development activities.
- Knowledge and possession of technique of holding effective negotiations, excellent communication skills and the ability to persuade, skills and techniques for conducting effective presentations, knowledge of effective tools, techniques and technologies in training and development of employees.
- Ability to design, present and implement long-term and short-term training and development plans independently and through a team of business trainers, make decisions, assess risks and opportunities affecting the business.
- Knowledge of employees and teams managing methods, approaches to personnel motivation and development, the ability to work in a team, including cross-functional. Attracting and working with talents, correcting work and removing low-performing employees from the company. Ability to shape and communicate vision.
- Organizational skills, leadership qualities and ability to be the leader, analytical skills, ability to look for opportunities and make decisions.
- Trainability and willingness to continuously improve the reached professional level.
- Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) at the level of a confident user, work with corporate electronic systems.
- Proficiency in English (written and oral) at a level not lower than upper intermediate.
- Driver's license and driving experience
- Readiness for frequent business trips.
