Company is looking for structured commercial eCommerce focused leader with drive and tenacity to succeed in a truly dynamic market. The successful candidate will lift the B2B eCommerce offering to the next level, while at the same time work on the longer-term strategy and team development to impact on the success in the Middle East and North Africa region. The current team covers multiple locations unified with a joint focus to reach more children.
Core Responsibilities:
Responsible for building and maintaining partnerships and creating joint value to drive business growth, including
- Develop and implement the sales strategy for eCommerce ensuring the business delivers against sales and profitability objectives
- Provide channel inputs into BU annual business planning and channel strategy planning
- Up skill and develop the overall competence and professional skills within the eCommerce sales function
- Drive customer value proposition, engaging with key customers and developing better quality relationships
- Leading strategic joint business agenda with customers, developing annual business plans and managing in-year negotiations and course correction plans
- Lead integration between key e-retailers, partner (vendor), and internal partners driving effective and constructive collaboration
Play your part in team succeeding:
- Key account management looks after developing and maintaining relationships with key customers so that customer value proposition is brought to life
- Individuals in the team will be responsible for the eCommerce Channel in a small to medium size market, or responsible for a specific big eCommerce client. There is likely to be coverage across multi-countries in the region
Do you have what it takes?
- Proven experience in a sales Account Management role with in-depth exposure to digital channels ideally in an established international FMCG organisation
- Proven people leadership exposure in a commercially driven, and learning focused environment
- Track record of delivering growth through collaborative Joint Business Planning at both strategic and executional level
- Strong result orientation and collaboration skills with internal and external partners
- Ability to handle complexity, and communicate effectively within those scenarios
- Strong analytical skills, and a curiosity about data metrics with the ability to turn analysis into useful plans (Excel and PowerPoint proficiency is key here)
- A resilience to deal with challenging customers, an ability to challenge, and collaborate with customers effectively
- Change orientated, and an energy to take others with you
- Strong English skills, Arabic language is a plus with a high cultural awareness and sensitivity
