Functional:

— Understand customer needs by channel to pin point the activation priorities that deliver the greatest impact on shopper behaviour and the highest ROI
— Build the activation plans around the shopper marketing activities by channel by program and activity feeding into the one commercial
— Lead the sales force briefing of the commercial calender ensuring the team is fully equipped to win with the provision and selling tools and assets in line with customer activation timings
— Manage a team to oversee brilliant activation of the commercial calendar partnering customers, supply, 3rd party agencies to build a world class activation machine
— Set bold activation KPIs across activities , oversee delivery and lead course correction and recommend new ways of working to constantly improve
— Ensure robust M&E is in place , to develop comprehensive understanding of behaviour change and corresponding drivers of financial performance
— Support the O&R process with Channel Director and finance to enable Diageo to deliver its financial targets ensuring optimum deployment of A&P. and efficient management of the customer activation budget ££ with the goal of constantly improving the ROI

Ideal Experiences / Qualifications / Capabilities:

— 8+ years of relevant marketing experience
— Exceptional ability to build and maintain genuine relationships based on mutual trust & respect
— Successful management of senior stakeholders at all levels, resulting in strong and positive outcomes
— Holistic skill set across all marketing pillars as well as a track record of leading transformational business results
— Being able to excel when dealing with ambiguity, complexity and working within a fast-paced, entrepreneurial and matrixed environment
— A history of working across media, digital, experiential, PR, culture, social and with external agencies
— Demonstrated brilliant execution to impeccably high standards
— Deep personal accountability for great performance
— Strongend to end commercial FMCG understanding, alongside high levels of numerical acumen and attention to detail
— Experience of working with and leading a team, whether directly or indirectly
— Experience working across multiple countries/geographies/cultures
