Responsibilities:

  • The Head of Controlling and Group Reporting is responsible for developing the financial planning of the company including the business plan, the budget, the liquidity planning and the financial model (for the shareholder and also lender’s purposes) production and management of the approval process.
  • He/she is in charge to develop and maintain adequate corporate controlling policies and procedures. He/she verifies that financial commitments are consistent with such policies and procedures and ensures cost management records of budget, expenditures, forecasts and cash flow are maintained
  • He/she is required to proactively support the project teams to maintain accurate project cost reporting, project planning, project control and perform risk assessment.
  • He/she is also responsible for the monitoring and internal and external reporting of costs, progress and project planning. He/she is involved in technical and commercial evaluation of project risks and initiation of cost reduction exercises whenever necessary.
  • The Head of Controlling and Group Reporting is additionally responsible for the day-to-day management of the Project Controlling and Corporate Controlling teams.
  • He/she should ensure full compliance with Group reporting requirements and be the key interface for Shareholder reporting requirements.
  • Day-to-day management of the Project Controlling and Corporate Controlling teams, including recruitment, performance evaluations, orientation, support, training, etc.
  • Develop, produce and control the Long Term Business Plan, the Detailed Annual Budget and the Liquidity Planning.
  • Drive the budget and business plan challenge and review and approval process, both internal and external
  • Preparation of financial and budget documentation for management decisions and shareholder meetings
  • Create Work Breakdown Structure for the direct project capitalised costs and develop the Cost Centre Structure for the indirect capitalised costs and non-capitalised costs with Accounting, and align the WBS and CCS with the chart of accounts
  • Preparation of the financial actuals and forecast for inclusion in the monthly report. Consolidation and review of the final version of the monthly report before external release
  • Monitoring of contract costs and payment schedules. Preparation of internal and external cost reports for budget holders and senior management
  • Develop and maintain the company’s controlling procedures, e.g. financial planning, project schedule, risk assessment
  • Support management in all commercial / procurement issues regarding project implementation
  • Support contract administration and change/claim management
  • Involvement in tender and contract negotiation for controlling purposes according to contract management and procurement procedures
  • Supporting and controlling the order requisition, commitments and purchase order processes
  • Participation in Risk Committee, identification, analysis and evaluation of project risks at the project and corporate level
  • Supporting and participation in internal and external audits

 

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Business Administration, Economics or similar
  • CIMA, СPA, ACCA certificate or papers in progress
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge of infrastructure projects
  • Managing people experience and enforcement power
  • Experience in contract administration and claim management
  • Fluent in English and Russian
  • High level of analytical skills and eye for detail
  • Knowledge of Planning Software MS Project and/or Primavera, MS Office
  • Project oriented with proven strong resilience in multicultural environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, excellent interface capabilities
  • Ability to deal with different cultures and authorities
  • Ability to work under pressure and to deal with unexpected situations
  • Flexible work attitude and willingness to travel
