Microsoft is looking for a Group Compliance Manager (CEE).

 

Responsibilities:

CEE partner compliance:

Ensures appropriate focus and energy on partner compliance; focuses efforts on highest risk stages of the end-to-end partner compliance lifecycle with particular focus on Vetting, Training, Remediation, Rehabilitation, Offboarding; influences relevant partner leaders and stakeholders to foster a healthy culture of ethics and compliance; supports the adoption of a business-led compliance rhythm; coaches others and holds them accountable to compliance and ethical standards; leads discussions to address existing risks and identifies and acts against emerging risks relevant to partners.

Partners with the business to ensure meaningful and robust vetting of third parties before moving to the next level of the process based on third party tiering; defines appropriate and practical level of control based on risk; oversees timely completion of controls with OCP, Partner Development Manager (PDM), or Services as applicable; oversees teams’ efforts in the vetting process; ensures controls are functioning appropriately; supports subsidiary team’s monitoring efforts by providing coaching, and/or mentoring; partner with PDM lead to ensure partner training program is executed effectively and efficiently; flags deals for review where risk indicators exist and provides professional insight to create plans to address risk or risk indicators.

Trains the OCP business champions to ensure robust local business compliance community and support the business champion to deliver internal and external partner compliance training to their respective organizations; facilitates the landing of compliance policies and processes. Lands policies and processes by reviewing and developing team development of Role Based Compliance (RBC) trainings, leveraging existing cross-functional teams to partner with required departments such as Office of Legal Compliance (OLC) or others, and managing the delivery of trainings that ensure message consistency and risk prioritization.

Takes the Compliance lead on addressing the risks for our most challenging highest risk partners in CEE; collaborate closely with CEE OCP Lead, CEE Area Compliance Lead and CEE CFO on partner specific strategies (rehabilitation, recovery, offboarding); ensures appropriate monitoring and governance for our highest risk partners. Work with local subsidiary teams on the effective execution of non-standard partner compliance controls and processes to mitigate specific risks in high-risk geographies (i.e. Russia and Hungary vetting).

Collaborates with related Partner Compliance functions and organisations such as: PERC, PAM, HRDD, Corp OCP, MBO, to bring our best assets and intelligence to collectively strengthen partner compliance in CEE.

Consults on remediation and escalates issues, as necessary. Engages in and shares best practices within the team and across geographies.

Global partner compliance:

Be the voice of the field and representative on partner risk and compliance initiatives spanning Corp OCP, OneVet, CSET, MBO and others on partner related projects and initiatives.

Act as global GSMO Finance partner compliance subject matter expert and lead; raise GSMO Finance awareness and visibility on partner compliance risks, processes and initiatives partnering with GSMO Finance Compliance Lead.

 

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or related field AND 6+ years of compliance experience OR equivalent experience.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications.

Master’s Degree in Finance or related field AND 8+ years of compliance experience.
