inDrive is looking for a Global Projects Manager (Government Relations) with a solid experience in government relations to address major global policy issues and to lead projects contributing to the effectiveness of the whole government relations department.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive approaches addressing major policy issues. That would include (but not limited to) GR project mechanics, core narrative, communication tools and channels, partnership, coordination with the company's neighbor departments
- Absorb both internal and external experience to implement best-in-class GR solutions that could be replicated across the operational regions
- Provide internal consultancy to regional GR leads in addressing major policy issues
- Develop and implement projects in the area of community relations
- Platform licensing process management unification, internal consulting and control across all countries. Ensure excellence and compliance to the process standards
- Lead cross-functional coordination with the company's functions including those covering social projects, communications, safety and customer support
- Optimize internal reporting and project management information systems [covering GR matters]
- Coach and mentor others while serving as a technical expert and sharing specialist knowledge on specific legislative policy areas
- Lead other internal and external projects presuming developing and implementing of new approaches to GR challenges and/or raising effectiveness and efficiency of the GR department
Qualifications:
- 7-8 years of experience in government relations / public policy
- 4+ years of experience in tier-one multinationals (inhouse or consulting) would be an advantage
- Master of law / economics / political science / international affairs
- English on a proficiency level
- Successful track record in translating legislative strategies into large scale programs and adapting them across business and/or markets
- Experience with and/or understanding of the legislative, regulatory, policymaking, and political processes
- Ability to research policy and political issues and synthesize and summarize the information
- Strong analytical & presentation skills, able to align company strengths and goals with strategic government opportunities and challenges
