The role:
Partner with the executive team and senior management to align the organizational structure, practices and communication with the Company’s strategy and culture.
Serve as visible, involved and engaged leader to employees throughout the organization.
Ensure tie-in between business partners’ key objectives and talent strategy
Collaborate as advisor and coach to business leaders and managers around people management and development
Assess culture and develop action plans to ensure a positive, engaging, and supportive workplace
Leverage centers of excellence to build tools and expertise across teams supported
Develop the integrated talent & capability plan using internal and external analysis to ensure we have the right talent to deliver the ambitions of the organization today and tomorrow
Lead the talent agenda to support business strategy; partnering with leaders to build high performing leadership teams, line managers and to create a highly productive and engaging environment
Lead transformational initiatives to drive cultural change and greater engagement
Identify and diagnose talent and organizational issues, and partner with business leaders to implement the right business and talent solutions
Lead process to identify and segment talent and ensure their continued development and advancement based on both performance and potential
Partner with executive leaders to ensure a solid succession plan is in place for all critical roles
Partner with Talent Acquisition to source and staff a diverse workforce, and ensure a positive onboarding experience
Evolve HR infrastructure to a best-in-class function.
Create an organization that continues to look for simplification and standardization opportunities in order to deliver the agility required for future business performance
Make a stand for the diversity and inclusion agenda and design and deliver interventions at all levels to make this real
The person:
Degree educated
Master’s Degree in Business Administration or Human Resources Management preferred
Progressive Human Resources Generalist and Leadership experience in a global highly matrixed organisation.
Industry experience gained within one or more of the following; FMCG, Manufacturing, Chemicals, Food, Bio-Tech, Pharmaceuticals or Oil & Gas
Experience of living and working in a number of regions globally. Must also have lived and or worked in or with the Netherlands.
Understanding of, and some experience with, most or all of the core aspects of Human Resource Leadership (strategy, organizational design, staffing; employee relations; performance management; leadership development; training)
Ability to think strategically and translate concepts into actionable items
Previous talent management and succession planning experience preferred
Proven ability to influence decision making
Must possess executive presence
Courage to make tough decisions and deliver difficult messages with professionalism and poise
Comfortable working in ambiguous business situations
Strong expertise in developing solutions based upon facts/data analytics
Must possess consultative style and approach with proven ability to develop credible relationships with business partners Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to present their point of view in varied business situations
Ability to use HR data and analytics to diagnose trends and link to business performance outcomes
Deep understanding of organizational design principles and practice.,
Understand what drives value for the business area you support, and puts effective interventions in place to enable this
Strong coaching, change and project management skills
Experience of driving culture and engagement strategies
Deep understanding of market trends, their impact on businesses and demonstrated ability to enable plans to address them
Previous experience of evolving HR infrastructure to a best-in-class function.
Experience in human resources in leading organizations through periods of significant commercial growth; experience hiring and developing successful HR teams
Proven ability to foster, motivate,and influence positive behaviors throughout the organization
Strong project management and organizational skills
Demonstrated success implementing creative, efficient, and user-friendly HR programs and solutions.
