Glovo is seeking a Global Head of Controlling.
BE A PART OF A TEAM WHERE YOU WILL:
Ensure completeness, timeliness and accuracy of all Management Accounts reporting
Manage a team of 5+ HQ Controllers as well as additional dotted line reportees from Department Controllers
Lead and develop Controlling landscape of the Company
Supervise the Global Finance compliance of our reporting
Provide meaningful business insights (YoY, MoM and vs BP) after closing to all Finance stakeholders
Identify and raise cost savings opportunities
Coordinate and Ensure Closing Calendar alignment with rest of departments & regions
Create and simplify Financial Reporting throughout the Company
Provide meaningful financial visibility to internal and external stakeholders as a Business Partner
Maintain and adapt our Financial Reporting structure following the Company’s continuous activities expansion
Support in the implementation of software solution for Financial Close as well as Reporting, to execute the self service vision of the department
Become the guardian of the company’s Financial Performance since day 1
YOU HAVE:
+3 years of experience according to the position
+6 years of experience in Finance (Finance departments, Accounting or Audit firms)
Advanced command of the English language
Experienced as a team lead
Proven track record, strong business acumen, problem solver, data-driven with an analytical approach, proactive and autonomous, good vibes!
An ability to take any problem, deep dive, reveal route cause, draft improvement solutions and communicate to stakeholders
An ability to summarize and present complex plans to Management and key stakeholders
Obsessed with continuous improvements, delivering value and allergic to manual tasks!
G Suite expert (Sheets, Presentations), Office Suite expert (Excel)
Experiences with multiple ERPs
SQL knowledge
NICE-TO-HAVES:
Accounting or Financial certifications (ACCA, CIMA, CPA or CFA)
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV
Spanish language
