Our client is a successful international manufacturing company with famous brands in the industrial market. The company employs more than 20.000 employees worldwide and has more than 140 years of history. For the Russian office in Moscow we are looking for:
General Manager Russia:
Tasks
- Full P&L responsibility for all business in Russia;
- Determine sales, marketing and service (after-sales) strategies;
- Ensure definition, prioritisation, co-ordination and controlling of projects i.e. process integration, eventually in co-operation with other relevant units;
- Overall responsibility for budget planning/execution by function, supporting Financial Director in implementing cost-efficiency & bottom-line focus culture at top/middle management level;
- Ensure an efficient operational marketing in close co-operation with Corporate Marketing with the aim of winning market share and margin in the area of responsibility;
- Gain relevant business information on competitors, i.e. fairs, commercial associations, as well as exchange market information with competitors and others in order to identify business opportunities;
- Guide, further develop and motivate subordinated staff within the framework of internal HR guidelines and procedures as well as in line with applicable legal regulations;
- Direct reporting to and close cooperation with HQ.
Requirements
- 10+ years previous experience as General Manager / Operations Director / Country manager;
- Profound knowledge of Russian industrial market and trends;
- Proven experience in complex matrix structures;
- Capable to make effective decisions and deliver result despite high uncertainty/ambiguity level;
- Proven ability to operate efficiently in multi-tasking environment;
- Strong leadership, integrity and hands-on personality;
- High negotiation and communication skills.
