Hotels & Resort Group is looking for a General Manager.

The Role of the General Manager:
The main purpose of this role is to develop and manage the operational strategy for the Resort to drive optimal performance, achieving financial and other business targets. The Resort has been developed based on a strong & unique concept & brand ideology which has been reflected in its design & operational philosophy. Therefore, it would be the responsibility of the General Manager to ensure consistent delivery of exceptional and unique guest experiences in line with the Resort’s concept & brand promise.
The Requirements for the General Manager:
- Candidates with multi-lingual capabilities are preferred as well as should have prior working experience in luxury boutique Resorts. Languages apart from English could be either German or Russian
- To be considered for this role, a minimum of 2 years’ experience as a General Manager at a 5-star luxury property in addition to at least 5 years Executive Management experience at a 5-star luxury property is required
- Candidates must have had working experience preferably in Maldives or in a remote Island location
- Should possess have strong knowledge of relevant Leisure / HNWI segments and key markets
- Should have proven all round operational Resort experience and be able to demonstrate commercial acumen and strategic focus
- Should be able to influence, negotiate and build relationships with key stakeholders
- The suitable candidate will possess strong knowledge and proven record of Food & Beverage or Rooms, Sales & Marketing experience
- It is essential that to have strong communication and influencing skills and be able to lead, develop and motivate team members at all levels and from diverse backgrounds
