In this role, you will be the ambassador of our business in Russia. You will lead both the growing bus service and the carpooling business, with the ambition to shift consumers mindset to online booking and to build the multimodal platform of choice for Russia travelers.
What You Will Directly Contribute To
P&L owner of the entire Russian business
Build and grow both carpooling and bus businesses from the ground up
Define the local strategy (forecast definition, sales & marketing, offline distribution, promotions, bus supply etc.) and execute on it
Lead PR and be the face of the company in Russia
Lead the supply and operations team to source, negotiate and maintain relationship with bus partners
Lead the local marketing team to create the most effective online and offline marketing campaigns in collaboration with BlaBlaCar central team
This role reports directly to the VP CEE and Latam
Qualifications
What you will need to be successful:
Strong professional with +10y experience
Proven track record of building and growing a business from the ground up
Ability to motivate and lead people, and hold employees accountable
Extensive experience in B2C marketplaces
Strong operational excellence and analytical skills
Strong entrepreneurial mindset and hands-on
Ability to represent the company publically
Russian native speaker
Must be fluent in English
