In this role, you will…
Create an innovative engineering culture of technology innovation and excellence, characterized as highly collaborative, execution-focused and high velocity
Coach and provide guidance to senior leaders on management and technical tracks for a growing team of more than 700+ engineers
Works with key stakeholders across the company to gain a strong understanding of the business objectives and related technology needs across the enterprise to inform Russia site capacity planning
Enable operational processes for the Russia site including local implementation of corporate policies (procurement, financial control), Quality management system and safeguarding IP
Be the Advocate and Change Champion in the transformation journey to Agile DevSecOps delivery model
Drive Align cultural values of agility, customer focus, accountability and innovation
Manage the Russian branch entity in accordance with local HR, Finance and Legal policies and in line with the Align’s corporate standards
Work closely with HR to enforce uniform approaches to compensation, promotions and career pathing for all employees
Facilitate collaboration and teamwork between different teams in Russia site
Manage all quality audits and remediations related to the Russia site
Collaborate with relevant teams in Moscow and RA&QA teams globally to ensure regulatory compliance processes are followed
Work closely with local functional leads — HR, Finance and Legal to support continuous improvement and efficiency of internal processes and policies
In this role, you’ll need …
BS, MS Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
10+ years people management experience
10+ years experience leading large-scale distributed quality engineering teams
Experience with cloud technologies, microservices architectures and agile development practices with an extensive track record of driving innovation and results in a fast-paced environment
A track record of building & scaling high-performing teams; attracting, developing, and retaining the best engineering talent. Demonstrated success forming and leading diverse cultural teams as a strong leader.
Experience leading quality in a regulated environment similar to those found in a medical device company
Experience with R&D budget and resource management
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a wide range of audiences including technologists, executives, business stakeholders and IT team members
Excellent interpersonal skills with strong ability to influence others and build a collaborative environment
Experience facilitating RFI/RFP process, and selection using quantitative and qualitative criteria.
