A large international company with specialisation in construction materials is currently looking for General Director in Russia & CIS.
KEY PURPOSE is to determine a strategy for all entities in the country for all products based on the overall company strategy to achieve profitable growth and maintain market share.
Description of most relevant tasks and responsibilities:
Determine sales, marketing and service strategies for the area of responsibility within the copmany strategy in order to achieve a growth market share and margins. Ensure strategy implementation and adjustment of business objectives when necessary. Participate in the further development of the Company strategy.
Steer the definition and realisation of qualitative and quantitative business objectives, especially product sales, for all entities in co-operation with other units. Based on constant market observation decide on necessary adjustments of defined objectives. Ensure a timely and efficient implementation of the strategic milestones.
Ensure definition, prioritisation, co-ordination and controlling of projects i.e. process integration, eventually in co-operation with other relevant units.
Ensure constant market observation, especially in the areas of competitor activities, customer requirements, suppliers, technology as well as legislation in order to sustain all relevant information required for the strategy process as well as for the management of operational business. Ensure constant brand, product and market analyses and ensure initiation of corrective measures if necessary.
Gain relevant business information on competitors, i.e. fairs, commercial associations, as well as exchange market information with competitors and others in order to identify business opportunities.
Ensure annual revision of customer related processes (internal benchmarking), eventually in co-operation with other units and Headquarters, in order to optimise resource and process efficiency, customer satisfaction and reduction of internal costs.
Requirements:
Experience in General Director role not less than 3 years
Experience in Construction Materials sector
Experience in sales management in companies with not less than 30 mln EURO of annual revenue.
