Responsibilities:
- Full-scope legal support of the group activities in Kazakhstan
- Participation in the management of the company operations in Kazakhstan as part of the management team
- Contribution to both building of a strong corporate culture and update of company long term strategy
- Creation, update and implementation of the legal process, including contracts approval policy and system, delegation of authority, etc.
- Corporate matters, including legal support of the corporate structure and governance
- Advice to internal stakeholders on a broad range of legal matters related to the operations of Teva in the region
- Coordination of outside counsel work, including selection of outside counsel and supervision thereof
- Contentious work
- Legal reporting
- Contractual work, including contracts review, creation of templates
- Review of promotional materials
- Legal support of other functions in creation and implementation of policies and guidelines, including commercial policy
- Implementation of regional and global policies
- Regular/scheduled self and team update on new regulations, laws, etc.
- Self-education/-development on a soft business skills
Requirements:
- Legal experience 7+ years
- Kazakh law qualification/experience
- English – Advanced
- Experience in a pharmaceuticals or medical devices sector is a strong preference
