RESPONSIBILITIES
Managing financial reporting and statutory compliance in relation to parent company and Poland branch in accordance with local regulations with the assistance of 2 staff members
Managing payroll and related activities for the group with the assistance of external payroll agencies
Completing necessary month end journal entries and reconciliations
Taking complete ownership of inter-company accounts
Driving continuous improvement of financial reporting processes and controls
Managing preparation of financial statements and regular reporting for specified subsidiaries (Australia, Canada, Hong Kong, Singapore) in liaison with international accountants and legal advisers
Management of capital and high value revenue expenditure by closely working with relevant departments
Preparation of audit schedules and responding to auditors’ queries
Maintaining documentation for relevant processes
Providing timely and accurate financial information to Senior Management
Working on other ad-hoc projects
REQUIREMENTS
International accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA or equivalent)
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to thrive under minimal guidance
Able to organise and prioritise workloads to meet deadlines
Good knowledge of multi-currency and multi-entity environment
Great attention to detail
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong IT literacy — experience of Oracle NetSuite would be helpful
Team player with good communication skills and a positive can do attitude
