IKEA is searching for a Facility Project Manager.
What you'll need to have:
- Thorough knowledge of how to assess and mitigate risks in a business environment
- Extensive knowledge of how to initiate, plan, execute, control and close a project
- Good knowledge of tools for timeline management (e.g. MS Project), document management (e.g Projectplace, Hummingbird), drawing management (e.g CEP), tender, cost follow-up tools (e.g Unifier) and other common software (e.g. Word, Excel, Power Point)
- High level technical understanding in all aspects of a retail building and connected equipment as well as understanding of asset management (maintenance and repair history, reinvestment planning)
- General knowledge of how to execute a budget; including the knowledge of appropriate tools, cost groups, cost benchmarking and how to recognize and prevent any deviation
- General knowledge of the internal procurement procedures regarding FM activities within the project
- Good knowledge of requirements (company specific and local/national) in providing a structurally safe property, equipped with life safety & property protection systems (e.g. fire protection systems)
What you'll be doing day to day:
- Responsible for the time, quality and budget status of appointed ongoing facility management (SISAN, Reinvestments) projects in a unit and ensuring compliance with Ingka standards
- Ensure that lessons learned from previous projects are documented and shared
- Take lead in working across functions within the unit and collaborate with relevant stakeholders/functions
- Responsible to ensure delivery of safe, compliant, sustainable and innovative property solutions that meet the needs of the business and the many people
- Align implementation and communication of project delivery strategies, methods and procedures with all internal and external stakeholders
- Ensure that external partners, when needed, have up-to-date awareness and understanding of all frameworks, guidelines and initiatives issued by Group Real Estate
- Secure that project budget estimates and time schedules are in place for input to investment approval purposes
- Secure that procurement, contractors, permits, budgets and cost follow up are in place for the project
- Provide technical and cost input to internal Ingka partners and external partners in the project process
- Lead the internal co-operation between Real Estate, core areas, and external co-operation between authorities, consultants, suppliers and contractors
- Participate and deliver insights in FM projects within the country and where specific competence is needed
