Microsoft is looking for a seasoned Event marketer to join the Central Marketing Organization (CMO).

Description:

The Central Marketing Organization (CMO) drives digital marketing transformation and execution in the Area. CMO delivers deep marketing capabilities and expertise to drive the Area’s growth agenda and create Microsoft fans. CMO’s data-driven marketing insights innovate go-to-market (GTM) campaigns with clear customer targeting, leveraging global customer nurture programs, digital events, social marketing-all through world-class marketing operations at scale. CMO is a strategic partner with Sales teams across all customer and partner segments and prioritized industries, as well as product-focused marketing teams and communications. CMO models Microsoft leadership values and nurtures a diverse and inclusive team.

The Event Lead oversees and orchestrates successful local event planning and execution to support Area business priorities and connection to Global Demand Center programs. You leverage data to gain insights to maximize business impact of events and drive ongoing portfolio and program optimization. The Event Lead role requires a professional passion for modern marketing techniques and principles along with how to drive demand and earn and attention for digital events.

The ideal candidate is a quick learner and rapid adopter of leading practices, and a courageous leader skilled in both managing a team to execute on global strategy and champion effective marketing integration and marketing operations to drive positive business outcomes. You must enjoy ongoing challenges in our multifaceted, highly matrixed organization and the industry that requires a combination of Modern Marketing Profile, Event Marketing leadership and global programs adoption for the greater cause-all coming together to deliver the customer experience.

 

Responsibilities:

Create and land an integrated subsidiary Event Marketing Plan that reaches and engages multiple audiences and aligns to business goals, marketing KPIs, budgets and policies
Ensure efficient events execution aligned with Global Events Model with the focus on baseline, opportunistic and targeted events for priority Industries, Azure, Modern Workplace and Business Applications;
Have a strong accuracy on compliance, operational excellence and budget management
Foster close partnership and collaboration with various internal teams such as Sales & Partner teams, Product Marketing, Executive Leadership and Area team
Ensure data-driven marketing approach
Enable event team as a center of excellence
Create and scale unified, clear and structured guidances on event execution processes
Ensure clarity on tools usage and timely team update on new guidelines and changes
Conduct metrics analysis on event effectiveness
Ensure effective suppliers management
Team management
Foster a healthy culture by recognizing employees for making ethical choices and encouraging them to speak up & share concerns. Role model expected behaviors and drive accountability & learning within your organization based on relevant policies
Design and land of seamless customer journey, messaging, value proposition and calls to action for priority solution areas
Understand event\campaigns objectives, product specifics and design seamless customer journey to meet core KPIs
Manage assigned budget, conduct metric and ROI analyses on projects effectiveness

 

Qualifications:

Advanced experience in B2B marketing & events
A proven ability to manage complex operational processes
Strong project management skills
Strong written and oral communication with good presentation skills and ability to effectively drive cross-group communication and cooperation
Knowledge of latest event and production specifics \ trends
Good understanding of cross-platform tools and technologies
High intermediate or advanced level of English (C1)
Good copywriting skills
Team Management experience preffered
Problem Solving & Win-win Approach.
