HR Leader Employee & Labor Relations Manager in Russia & CIS Cluster (reporting into Cluster Head) is responsible for managing a range of activities related to employee/labor relations such as performance management and employee discipline issues; development of HR related policies, procedures, practices and provide consultations to the HR team, management, and staff.

This role focuses on delivering ERLR service across all geographies of Russia & CIS countries. In the lesser, remaining scope, this role will be responsible for assignments in any of the sectors and geographies within the CEE, Russia & CIS Cluster. The role remains within the structures of Global Services and will be placed in Moscow, Russia.

 

Responsibilities & Impact:

  • Develop full range of processes and procedures related to employee/labor relations to maintain employer-employee relationships that contribute to satisfactory productivity, motivation, and morale. Prevent and resolve workforce problems that arise out of or affect work situations
  • Be responsible on ERLR side for organizational change initiatives on both, individual and collective employment law side
  • Develop, roll out Performance improvement plans procedure, execution control, coaching of LM/BUHRs
  • Administer employee grievances
  • Design, manage and administer disciplinary programs and actions
  • Administer and interpret various labor agreements, provide labor relations support during employment contract negotiations
  • Serve as initial point of advice, problem resolution, and facilitation in the areas of employee relations, performance management, and employee discipline
  • Advise both employees and management regarding employee relations policies, procedures, and documentation; research, identify, and analyzes specific employee relations concerns and makes appropriate recommendations to management
  • Provide advice and counsel to managers and supervisors regarding personnel practices, policy and employment laws
  • Create reports and conduct internal audits as they pertain to Employee Relations data and processes
  • Ensure compliance with all state and employment regulations
  • Participate on ERLR side in A&D projects
  • Where applicable, manages relationship with trade unions and work councils in RCIS geographies
  • Build up strategy and relationships with specific government and regulatory organizations in close collaboration and alignment with HR admin and Legal teams

 

Expectations from you:

  • Higher University Degree – Legal education background is required
  • Experience in ERLR area or in Employment Department of law firm is a plus
  • Excellent knowledge of employment & labor law area in Russia. Knowledge of employment laws in any of CIS countries is a plus
  • Advisory experience on ERLR topics and projects (also within law firm)
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, leadership skills and proactive approach skills are essential
  • Strong social intelligence, self-confidence and business acumen are critical attributes for this role
  • Advanced level of English language
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constrains
  • Ability to make administrative and procedural decisions and judgments on sensitive, confidential issues
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations, knowledge in the field of labor relations
  • Ability to analyze complex information, and to define and solve problems
  • Readiness to travel for business in 5-10% working time capacity
  • Excellent management of stakeholder relationships
