GlaxoSmithKline is looking for a EMEA Product adoption manager.
Key responsibilities:
Define and maintain the relevant PA capabilities in the Regional Tech Capability Framework
Own the plan and work with coach managers to upskill the team in defined PA relevant capabilities (C&C obsession, product mindset, test & learn) and using a PA framework / toolbox
Create and maintain a structured Product Adoption framework / toolbox for the EMEA Tech teams to use when product adoption is low
Work with relevant teams to set up product adoption KPIs per (prioritized) product and market and make sure those KPIs are regularly reported. Make sure teams are trained and mandated to act based on adoption KPI indicators
Consult the teams at Discovery / Alpha / Beta stages to ensure due diligence while verifying assumptions, and confirming expected value and adoption KPIs
Advising whether the PA objective is reached for each stage of the lifecycle, or not
Consult the teams after product go-live to make sure value is delivered, captured & reported, adoption KPIs are reached and the usual assumption that product status is ‘green’ after go-live verified. Ensuring that “competing products / workflows” are stopped after new product go-live
Create the framework / toolbox on how to ‘stop’ the product if after structured due diligence remediation efforts, adoption is still low (i.e. it was not the right product or right problem in the first place)
Mentor and coach the teams via deep diving in some of the specific adoption issues
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s in Computer Science/Tech/IT/ or equivalent (incl. equivalent on the job experience & certifications)
10 years relevant experience in product management and adoption, or equivalent, i.e. experience as a Product Portfolio Manager / Chief Product Manager / Principle Product Manager, etc.
Broad knowledge and understanding of Tech systems (ERP, Commercial, NRM, BI & Analytics, Digital, etc.), and product framework and how they are applied to support and drive business objectives
Track record of building Agile mindset and coaching teams on the application of Agile principles, i.e. changing mindset in the teams from traditional to Agile. Experience in coaching teams cross-culturally is a plus
Track record of embedding product mindset: putting customer first and consistently applying test and learn approach in the work — creating hypothesis, designing and running experiments across many scenarios, and utilizing experiment techniques (e.g. smoke screen, A/B, wizard of oz, beta testing)
Experience in designing and facilitating customer research, using a range of techniques, including creating customer personas and user journeys
Preferred Qualifications:
MBA/M.Tech/MS or Equivalent.
