Unilever is proud of its Tea business, the biggest in the world, with world class purpose driven brands such as Lipton, PG tips and Pukka. The company is searching for a Distributive Trade Head Tea Division.

 

Your Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for delivery of business objectives across key Distributors.
Act like an owner: Responsible for all sales activities and growth of the business
P&L end-to-end. Directly responsible for driving business competitive growth and profitability within your assigned scope.
Build winning market positions & drive strategic growth agenda through developing and nurturing strong business relationships with your customers.
Lead & execute annual planning (incl. JBP), trade marketing budget & negotiations.
Ensure appropriate focus on S&OP.
Performance management of key distributors.
Source and analyse secondary sales data in order to uncover portfolio, channel or geographic opportunities.
Lead strategic pricing analysis and key competitor analysis highlighting gaps and opportunities for growth.
Ensuring all payments are done on time and coordinates relevant process with CDEx to ensure smooth continuity on day to day operations.
Use NRM, channel, customer & shopper insights to identify & implement new growth opportunities through driving right pack / price architecture by channel.
Talent catalyst: Responsible for growing and nurturing talent including succession planning ensuring organization is fit to win short and long term.

 

Skills and Experience:

Must haves:

Commercial degree, preferably in sales and marketing.
At least 5 years of working experience in Sales & Marketing with at least 2-3 years experience in a FMCG business managing distributors.
Business development / sales management experience.
End to end business understanding including supply chain and logistics.
Proven track record of delivery topline and bottom-line results.

Nice to have:

Experience within the beverages / tea category.
Professional Knowledge / Skill Requirements.

Must Have:

Functional and technical knowledge.
Sales: Strong communication and negotiation skills.
P&L – financial acumen.
Communication skills.

Negotiation skills.

Nice to have:

E-Comm sales – listing and driving online sales through e-com partners.
