About the team:
Come join a dynamic Go To Market Leadership organization at Miro to build the Value Engineering function from the ground up! This is a unique opportunity to partner with Sales, Success, and Solution Engineering organizations in redefining the way Miro positions value to a diverse base of accounts globally across all segments.

 

About the role:
The Head of Value Engineering will be responsible for developing, championing, and leading a Value Engineering practice across the global GTM organization. The focus for this high-visibility role is to work with CPTOs, CMOs, and CIOs to understand key challenges and objectives across their revenue journey, and then partner with these leaders on the vital organizational, process, and technology changes that will help them unlock their full potential using the Miro Platform.
As the leader of the Value Engineering function, you will pave the way, build processes, and partner with cross-functional leaders to build a world-class team.
This is an exciting, strategic role that combines the proficiencies of Value Engineering and Strategy Consulting. Company is looking for a self-starter to join team, someone who has demonstrated success dealing with ambiguity, operating in a fast-growing environment, and solving problems with limited oversight.

 

In this role, you will:

  • Build a world-class Value Engineering practice and engagement model across the entire GTM organization and enable our organization to apply this practice consistently and effectively to grow and retain customers
  • Work closely with the customers, Sales, Customer Success, Solutions, Product, and Marketing to understand how Miro helps customers meet their strategic objectives by identifying key business drivers and developing compelling points of view to drive an executive-level conversation
  • Have the rare opportunity to be a part of building a team and process from scratch and joining Miro as it quickly becomes an indispensable platform across businesses globally

 

What you’ll do:

  • Identify target operational and financial metrics impacted by Miro's platform and use these metrics to develop ROI/ Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) models
  • Build the business value proposition, including developing a strategic account plan, formulating a value hypothesis, building a business case justification, and crafting a compelling proposal to C-Level executives
  • Develop expertise around vertical-specific metrics and business objectives and formulate how the Miro platform can address those objectives
  • Coach the GTM teams on key enterprise value levers and how to incorporate such concepts into core messaging

 

What you’ll need:

  • 7+ years proven experience in Value Engineering and/or consultative roles that are aligned to Sales, Revenue, and Go to Market strategies
  • Prior experience in sales or presales leadership is a plus
  • Ability to break down problems of all different types in a structured fashion and identify the key issues to solve
  • Works well under pressure, with tenacious prioritization and timely and transparent communication
  • Has excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to work well with Sales as well as other internal cross-functional teams such as success, product, solutions engineering, and marketing
  • Customer centric person who is also able to respond to some inbound requests to create a great customer experience
